Ensure your shearing shed stays in prime condition with our Annual Maintenance Plan. Every 12 months before shearing season, we provide skilled tradespeople and quality materials to keep your shed running smoothly.
Shearing Shed Maintenance
Over the years we have built some very nice new shearing sheds but the purpose of this flyer is to let you know we also do shearing shed maintenance. We know it is bloody hard to get trades in the bush.
The whole idea is to let you decide the budget and frequency. One visit might be enough or a couple of visits over several years.
OPTION #1 – 2 x Days of a qualified trade and consumables (screws, bolts, paint, hinges, timber repair)
$3,800 + gst
OPTION #2 – 2 x Days of a qualified trade and consumables and Timber supplied *
$5,000 + gst
OPTION #3 – 4 x Days of a qualified trade with consumables and Timber supplied *
$9,100 + gst

*Timber available per 2 Days = Timber grating 30 l/m, Timber Joist 30 l/m, 30 l/m T&G, 2 x sheets ply.
We have found the above timber is sufficient for repairs and replacement in most shearing sheds, we will make recommendations if the job is significant and requires a formal quote. We will also have extra on
hand to get the job completed if required, it is a budget of maximum total timber used before we chat about a formal quote because the job is bigger then 2 or 4 days. Trying to keep it simple.
• Travel and Accommodation is included so no extra costs, we are self-sufficient.
• Your tradie will turn up with a fully decked out trailer and Ute with a huge supply of various
screws, bolts, hinges, tools timber and steel, welder, glue, paint and experience.
• We discuss on arrival priorities with the client. The most common requests are grating screw down
and replacement, catching pen door hinge replacement and timber floor repair. We get a lot done in
a couple of days.
• Before we leave, we complete an Audit to help plan ongoing maintenance if required or
recommendations to consider. This is not to try and get more work but simply to provide you with a
plan.
• We are doing this to keep the old girl going a bit longer and ensure everyone is happy.
One last thing, Hot water and a decent dunny puts a smile on everyone’s face, put em in.
